And it’s not a horror story, though some people might be horrified.

And it’s not a monster story either. Though there is a monster in it. And that monster happens to be me.

Rosa lives on the mysterious island of Mirasol where it's always raining. It doesn't help that Rosa suffers from a rare medical condition that has left her mute and scarred, causing superstitious islanders to fear her. Every night, Rosa lights candles in the window, hoping to bring back her dead mother.

Hidden away with only her father and Yaya as company, she soon meets Ansel96 online, and she discovers that she might not be the only one with a secret.
